HELP KITCHEN MANAGER IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
Cancer is a terrible disease and a tough battle for those affected by it. Let's give our support, in any way we can, to an individual in our community, who is currently fighting for his life.
Matty G's Kitchen Manager, Oscar Escatel is a young man with stage 4 Melanoma Cancer. He has a 3 year old son and wants to live.
According to the GoFunMe page, created by his sister, he was admitted to the hospital over the New Year holiday. Oscar developed Melanoma tumors throughout his body which continue to spread at a rapid rate. This rare type of cancer exists on organs that cannot be surgically removed and requires Opdivo®, a very expensive treatment. His health insurance only covers a fraction of the cost.
Oscar is not only an employee of Matty G's, but a friend and leader. The restaurant has put together a benefit event to help raise money for their dear friend.
Visit Matty G's on Sunday, January 26 between 11 am - 9 pm. Thirty percent of your food and alcohol purchase will go to Oscar.
