Recently transformed into fast-casual dinning, Matty G's Steakburgers & Spirits upholds a family friendly atmosphere where even your fur-baby can join in. Make yourself at home by seating yourself and ordering with the friendly person at the register.
Cosmos Lounge is a an extended outdoor patio where dogs are welcome. You will not see doggy treats on the menu, but they do offer them upon request. Now, if your pet only eats dog food, note that they do not carry any, rather a regular sausage will be served.
Hat Trick ($8.00)
And speaking of sausages, the Hat Trick hot dog was a favorite dish among my party. It pitches the classic comforting flavors we love. A variety of foot long hot dogs can be combined with french fries, garlic fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, deep fried jalapeños or fried pickles. The Hat Trick is a juicy foot long sausage on a sturdy hot dog bun. It is topped with grilled onions, shredded cheese and a chili that keeps it saucy. We enjoyed this dog with a side of their addicting garlic fries.
Hail Mary Steakburger ($9.50)
Matty G's is known for their whimsical steakburger patties made fresh each day. The menu offers a wide selections of burgers to choose from. Today, we sink our teeth into Hail Mary. Two steakburger patties are stacked with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, BBQ sauce, fried onions and pickle on a hamburger bun. Adding to this comforting meal are sweet potato fries with broiled marshmallow dip. The extra crisp fries oozing with marshmallow gave hits to a sweet potato pie and we just couldn't get over this.
Little Giants ($6.00)
We also tried a kids meal... no judgments please. Little Giants consists of two slider steakburgers with pickle and American cheese. The kids menu offers three items: hot dogs, chicken tenders and the sliders. This is the type of food kids just love.
At the center of this restaurant is a small arcade. Plan on partaking in the fun zone while you are out grabbing a bite.
Chili Cheese Fries ($7.50)
In my book, the Chili Cheese Fries can qualify as an actual meal, snack or combine it as a side dish. Crispy fries are loaded with hearty chili, gooey nacho cheese sauce, pico de gallo and jalapeños. Fork, please.
Chicken Tacos ($8.00)
Choose between carne asada or grilled chicken on a single corn tortilla. The tacos are topped with seasoned grilled meat, fresh pico de gallo and side of salsa. There is not mixing and matching when it comes to this order. You get you four tacos for eight dollars.
El Toro Salad ($11.00)
Among six salads is the Mexican flare, El Toro. Mixed greens, black beans, corn, fried onions, tortilla strips, sour cream, carne asada and it's a legit fiesta bowl. Add a kick to your ensalada with a drizzle of Citrus Jalapeño Dressing or Spicy Ranch Dressing.
Slam Dunk Pizza Cookie ($7.00)
The Slam Dunk Pizza Cookie is a dessert that keeps on scoring. Fresh half baked cookies are served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This special treat is topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
Frozen Custard ($5.00)
A more subtle dessert is the sweet vanilla Custard Shake. It can be topped with a variety of goodies such as: Cookie Butter, Heath Bar, Butterfinger, Reeses Peanut Butter Sauce, Oreo Cookie, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and caramel sauce. Bring the team in for a shake after the game.
