GET YOUR HANDS ON TENDER LAMB CHOPS IN AN EXQUISITE MEDITERRANEAN FLARE
A notable dish emerges from a Spanish modern cantina located in the city of Paramount, California. Early this year, DeLucía Bar underwent new ownership and reopened to the public with a flamenco vibe, new chef and menu.
A fine selection of craft beer and Spanish wine can be enjoyed with a concise menu offering tapas and carefully selected main dishes.
The Lamb Chops ($16) is one of my favorite entrees at DeLucía. The presentation of this dish captures my eye and the aroma awakens my appetite. Three perfect cuts of lamb are seasoned and grilled to perfection bestowing my taste buds with memorable flavor. The tender meat is utterly juicy still attached to the bone. At some point I felt compelled to set the knife and fork down and grab the fine chop with all its juices to devour. Balsamic reduction is a nice compliment to the lamb and a thoughtful detail on the dish. A savory side of saffron couscous with season vegetables accompanies the lamb and ties the gastronomical experience with wonderful Mediterranean notes.
